We are planning to visit Magic Kingdom on Sept 20 and it is Extra Magic Hours that morning. How many hours early before the park opens is EMH?

    Hi Carolyn!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question!

During Morning Extra Magic Hours, the designated park opens one hour earlier than regular park hours.
On September 20th, Magic Kingdom will be opening to Walt Disney World Resort Guests at 8:00am. Transportation from your Resort will begin operating at 7:00am that day.

If you'd like to see the park opening "show," be sure to arrive at the gates by 7:30am and secure a great view of the Walt Disney World Railroad Platform up above the gardens. It's a spectacular way to start your Disney Day and a definite "must do."

For a full listing of park hours, including Extra Magic Hours, visit the Park Calendars online on the Walt Disney World website and select your arrival date at the top of the page. You'll then see a listing of all the parks and their hours for the duration of your visit, up to 10 days!

I hope you'll write me back if I may assist you further with questions or recommendations to make the most of your vacation.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Carolyn! Now go get packing! Your trip is just around the corner!
