We are planning a visit to the Magic Kingdom next week. My Mom has a implant which monitors for heart arrhythmias and is currently taking blood thinners. Waiting in long lines will be difficult for Dee. So is it possible for her to receive DAS? Thanks!

Hi there, Dee Dee! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Only a few more days until your vacation! You’re so very close to being at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Walt Disney World Resort does a fabulous job of providing services for their Guests with disabilities! I know firsthand just how important it can be to have access to these services and am so very happy to be able to share this information with other Guests!

The Disability Access Service is designed to provide accommodations for Guests that cannot wait in a conventional queue line due to disability. Guests with the Disability Access Service will be able to go to any attraction that offers FastPass+ service and receive a return time that is comparable to the current standard queue line wait. The Guest and their party will then be able to return to the attraction either at or after this time and experience the attraction!

Disability Access Service is actually not determined by a Guest’s specific condition but instead by their need for a non-traditional queue experience. A Cast Member will be able to determine if the Disability Access Service is the right fit for your mother at any Guest Relations location located at the front of all theme parks. If it is determined that the Disability Access Service is not the best accommodations for your mother, Cast Members at Guest Relations will do their best to provide her with an alternative.

I hope this information will help you and your mother have an absolutely magical visit!
