Hey there, hi there, ho there, Pennie! You're as welcome as can be, to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Yippee! How exciting to be planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort. What a great way to wrap up the Summer.
The
Disney MaxPass feature added on to a Disneyland Resort theme park ticket is an amazing service. You may have noticed the advisory suggesting to check Disney FASTPASS availability before purchasing MaxPass. MaxPass may be purchased with your
tickets for the duration of your ticket length. Or it may be purchased one day at a time after entering the park with your ticket. For the latter case, guests may check the
Disneyland app for FASTPASS availability that day to decide whether or not they want to purchase MaxPass. Waiting to decide on the day of each park visit may be best for guests who mostly plan on arriving later in the day after FASTPASS distribution has been going on for some time. Note that prices and offers and subject to change.
Of course, the early morning hours are typically the most productive when visiting the Disneyland Resort. Not only are wait times at their shortest, but
all of the pool of FASTPASSES are available for guests at the start of the day. If you plan on taking advantage of those morning hours, MaxPass may be a great option for you. As for being able to enter the parks at all, that is generally not an issue. On rare occasions, such as popular days like Christmas, the parks may limit new guests entering the parks later in the day. Arriving early is helpful for ensuring entrance into the parks on the busiest of days.
Please come back with any additional questions you may have, Pennie. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
