Hi Jessica! Looks like you are starting off the new year in the best way I can think of- a vacation to visit the mouse!
The holiday decorations at
Walt Disney World are legendary- spectacularly decorated trees, hundreds and hundreds of poinsettias, and festive wreaths and bows draped all about. If you arrive during the first few days of January, Christmas cheer is typically still found in the Disney
theme parks and
resorts. I've found the garnishing begins after Halloween and that the unofficial take down date is around January 3rd.
This year my family arrived on January 5th and much to our delight, found the lobby of
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort still festooned for Christmas. The next morning we walked though the
Magic Kingdom gates to discover Main Street completely decked out with Mickey wreaths on lampposts and the beautiful Christmas tree soaring above the shops. This is likely to be a covid one off however, so I would plan on the seasonal take down to happen almost immediately after New Year's Day in 2022.
Enjoy your wonderful adventure!
