I am planning a visit to Hollywood Studios, and I want to do the white lines on my face like Ahsoka. No orange face paint underneath, no wig or alien hair. I am over 14 years old. Is this okay?

    Bright suns, Shae!

Welcome to planDisney where we're more than happy to assist with any inquiries big or small, so I believe we are the panelists you’re looking for.

Each time I stop by Batuu at Disney's Hollywood Studios I am always amazed at the immersive theming that instantly transports me to a galaxy far, far away. Of course, it's not just the handiwork of Walt Disney World's Imagineers that shines but the creativity of fellow Guests as well. From colorful lightsabers, creative hairstyles, and themed attire, the people passing through Black Spire Outpost on any given day never disappoint.

Now, if you're hoping to take part in that unique form of Disney magic, you'll want to keep Walt Disney World Resort’s park dress guidelines in mind, understanding that theme park entry is contingent upon adherence to the outlined criteria for apparel. While there is no specific mention of 'face paint' as a prohibited item, it is important to keep in mind items that obscure a Guest's face are, so I would make sure that your markings serve as an accent rather than a mask to avoid a potential issue. Of course, because the apparel guidelines are interpreted and enforced according to individual Cast Member discretion, I would be prepared to remove the paint if asked.

It sounds like a fun-filled day awaits you on Batuu, so I suggest getting started with a bit of caffeine. I love the Cold Brew Black Caf from Kat Saka’s Kettle. While it isn’t the beverage that will bring balance to my diet, it is the chosen one for my morning routine. There’s even a spiked version for adults to enjoy!

I hope this was helpful, Shae, and that you have a wonderful time in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Don’t hesitate to drop back by if you have any additional questions before your visit!

I've got a good feeling about this,
