We are planning to visit Hollywood Studios and typhoon lagoon for a few hours on the same day. Is this doable? How long does it take to get from Hollywood Studios to Typhoon lagoon and then back using the bus system within Disney?

    Hi Wendy,

There isn't a bus that goes directly from Hollywood Studios to Typhoon Lagoon. You'll have to get to a resort first, and then take a bus to the water park.

You have a couple of options. You could walk to Disney's Boardwalk Resort (or any of the resorts located on the Boardwalk) and catch the bus from there.  That would take you about 45 minutes, depending on your walking speed.

If walking isn't your thing, you could always take a boat launch to Boardwalk, but that would increase your time.

You can also take a bus to a different resort. Port Orleans is probably your best option since it's one of the closest. I think the trip would still take about 45 minutes.

Coming back to Hollywood Studios, take the bus to the Swan Resort (it's located on the Boardwalk) and either walk or take a boat to the park.

If you're staying at a resort on property, I recommend heading back to your resort to shower and freshen up before heading back to Hollywood Studios. You'll probably be a bit tired after a day filled with so much activity.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
