We are planning to visit Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Epcot. Can you bring a bag into a park? For example to carry rain ponchos, a small umbrella, etc? What can you bring, how big, etc> Can you brink a bottle of water? Thanks!

Welcome to planDisney, Darry! You're just a few days away from your arrival to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I'm sure you're feeling the excitement as your upcoming visit draws near! Let's get to your question so you can pack accordingly and be ready for everything while you're in the parks!

Guests are welcome to bring bags into the parks with them, along with umbrellas, ponchos, and reusable water bottles. I've carried everything from a small belt bag to a full-size backpack during park visits and the Walt Disney World Property Rules only state that suitcases, coolers, bags, or backpacks must not exceed 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. So as long as your bag fits those dimensions, you are welcome to bring it with you inside the theme parks. To help you plan, if you do bring a bag, when you go through a security checkpoint, you may be asked to do a bag check as well. If you decide you'd like to store your bag while in the park, Locker Rentals are available at each of the theme parks for a fee.

Darry, it's also important to note that the rules do prohibit loose ice and dry ice, but ice packs are allowed and recommended instead. Many visitors bag their own ice packs with sandwich-size bags. Also note that glass containers are not allowed.

As far as bottles of water, you are welcome to bring those, along with any other food or beverages you'd like to bring. We often pack some snacks in our backpacks for when we get hungry in an attraction line, and we also bring bottles of water that we refill at the Water Bottle Refill Stations. We have also found that most quick-service restaurants offer complimentary cups of ice water, so we tend to stop by and grab those when we need to refill and hydrate on the go! Bonus tip: While you're in the parks, use the My Disney Experience mobile app to search for the closest refill station!

Darry, I hope this helps! I know you're going to have a wonderful vacation - be sure to check out my favorites at each of the parks you're visiting:
