I am planning a visit with grandson and daughter-in-law. Am I able to use my points from my Chase Disney visa card? Will we be able to share a room? Grandson is 20 Yrs. Am I able to set this up with my travel agent or better off dealing directly

    Hi there, Deborah!

A warm welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've stopped by with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! Deborah, it's wonderful to hear you're hoping to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth with your grandson and daughter-in-law. The only thing better than a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is sharing it with your loved ones! I'd be happy to help your family prepare for a fun-filled vacation.

I just love using my Disney Visa credit card, Deborah. Each time I use my card, I know I'm earning Disney Rewards Dollars to be used on my next Disney vacation! I'm happy to inform you that Disney Rewards Redemption Cards are accepted at many dining and merchandise locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. To redeem your Disney Rewards Dollars, you'll want to request a Disney Rewards Redemption Card by loading your available balance onto the card. You'll use your Disney Rewards Redemption Card much like a gift card when making eligible purchases at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Deborah, most Disney Resort hotel room types would accommodate your travel party, so I'm glad to share that you'll be able to comfortably share a room with your family members! I encourage you to check out the different Resort hotels and room configurations to decide what'd work best for your group. If you'd like some room to spread out and allow for additional privacy, I'd recommend looking into a Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's All-Star Music Resort. Alternatively, you could consider a 1-Bedroom Villa at one of the Deluxe Villa Resorts, which would provide your party with separate sleeping areas plus a full kitchen and in-room laundry amenities!

Whether Guests choose to enlist travel agents to assist them with the planning process is a personal decision, Deborah. The Walt Disney World Resort website allows Guests to build and customize their practically perfect vacations, and planDisney is always there to help Guests maximize the magic during their trips! If you choose to reach out to a travel agent for help, be sure to select an individual who's well-versed in planning trips to Disney Destinations.

Deborah, I hope you've found this information helpful as you begin planning an exciting getaway for your family! If you have any additional questions, you're always welcome to return to planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
