July isn’t too far off, Rachael. You must be getting so excited for this extra special trip! What you’ve heard is true, but let me see if I can put you at ease.
First of all, I want to encourage you to familiarize yourself with the
health and safety guidelines that are currently in place at Walt Disney World. These updates are things everybody in your traveling party should know before they go.
Now, about those fireworks…
As of right now, fireworks and parades are unavailable throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. But that doesn’t mean that fun is cancelled! Though not quite the same as a parade, the
Character Cavalcades at Magic Kingdom allow Guests to experience the Disney personalities they know and love. Though there is not schedule to check (because these events are fun surprises!) these celebrations travel along the parade route. You’ll be able to experience similar Character processions in each of the four theme parks.
If you’re looking for an enchanting evening activity, definitely check out the schedule for
Movies Under the Stars at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Taking in a big screen flick is infinitely more magical when you’re watching beneath a starlit sky! You might also consider strolling around
Disney Springs with an
after dinner treat, or watching the
Electrical Water Pageant make its way across the Seven Seas Lagoon.
My last tip, Rachael, is to be sure that you capture your moments both in your mind and on camera. Disney’s
Memory Maker will help with that. After all, one day, you’ll look back on these masked photos and reminisce over memories of an iconic time in our global history!
Of course, as the situation evolves, changes are to be expected. I encourage you to keep an eye on the
Disney Park Blog for timely news and updates about all the available experiences at Walt Disney World.
I’m wishing your family an absolutely unforgettable trip, Rachael. I hope it exceeds your dreams!
