We are planning to visit the first week of April 2025. The crowd calendars have conflicting information as far as best time to visit. When will be the least busy week this coming April? Or would the end of March be better?

Hi there, Kelly, and welcome to planDisney!

Crowd calendars can be super helpful when digging into daily and weekly predictions about how busy the Disney Parks will be. As a local who frequents the theme parks every month of the year, I can tell you that even on the busiest weeks, there are pockets of unpredictable calm. And on the not-busy-weeks, there are days that have many Guests.

With that being said, between your two choices, I’d go with the last week of March 2025. Although both weeks are during the busier Spring Break times and the popular EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, the last week of March is usually that transition week between Florida districts’ Spring Break and other states’, which many are in April. Also, the runDisney Springtime Surprise event at Walt Disney World is at the end of the first week of April, so you could bump into many of happy runners who are celebrating their achievements.

My best piece of advice is that no matter the season, there’s never a bad time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The key is to plan. Take advantage of Lightning Lane Multi and Single Pass options, stay on property to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, and make a game plan with your crew. Take a look at the My Disney Experience App and plan out what those top priorities are for each day and take midday breaks. You are going to have an amazing time as long as you take it easy and enjoy all of the fun details and ambience of this Happy Place.

Kelly, please stop by here at planDisney if you have additional Disney vacation planning questions before, during, or even after your Most Magical trip. I’m all ears!

    Magic always,
