I am planning a visit for my family of 5 in August. We'd like a resort with a pool so that knocks out the value resorts. I was interested in the Port Orleans Riverside but it looks like there are 2 beds and a trundle for the 5th person? Has anyone used it?

Hi there, Tara!  Just to clarify, the value resorts all have swimming pools.  They aren't as elaborate as the pools you'll find in the moderate and deluxe resorts, but pools nonetheless!

My family has stayed at Port Orleans Riverside multiple times.  I'm a huge fan of the gorgeous landscaping and down home charm.  Resort rooms in the Alligator Bayou section of the resort do feature a small trundle.  It's worth noting that the trundle is small, and really only suitable for a young child (probably ten and under).  If those accommodations would work for your family, I suggest you give it a try.  The pool at Port Orleans Riverside is a favorite with my kids, and the plethora of recreational opportunities on site provide endless opportunities for fun!
