    Planning a visit in either Feb or March 2014. Are either of the 2 Disney water parks closed at that time?

    Hi David! In the past years Disney has always tried to keep one water park open while the other one is closed for refurbishment. Generally the great Typhoon Lagoon closes during the fall and reopens about the first week of January. At that time Blizzard Beach then goes down from the first week of January until the middle of March. Dates are not published yet for this next year's closings but they have followed this pattern for the last few years so it is a good example of what is likely to happen for the 2014 season. Again, Disney will do everything they can to keep on water park open at all times and of course weather permitting. Both parks have thrill rides and gentle waves for the little tikes so you can enjoy either park for a great day in the sun!
