Hi, I am planning 2nd visit to DW Dec27-Jan3. Which days are best for parks? We have 4,6,7 yr olds. Will Parks still have xmas deco up? Was thinking of returning to POR again... any suggestions? I'm a little worried about weather this time of yr..thanks!

Your visit to Walt Disney World at the end of the year will be great. The parks and resorts usually take the decorations down on or about the 4th of January. While there is no exact date, this has been the recent standard. So in all likelihood you will indeed get to see the amazing decorations. As for which parks to visit, I always begin at the Magic Kingdom. This is where it all began. There are so many wonderful family style attractions for you and the kids to enjoy. Take them on the adventure of a lifetime on the classic Jungle Cruise, or a ride on the timeless 'it's a small world.' These are just a few of the classic attractions that will create magical memories on this vacation. You might also want to let them explore Tom Sawyer's Island and all of the great places to run and play on this island of tunnels and adventure. This time of year can be somewhat busy at the parks, with the Magic Kingdom always the busiest. I would make a point of getting there early to ensure getting in all the fun you can before it gets too crowded. As for a stay at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, I love that resort and will be staying there at the end of September. I think it's one of my all time favorite resorts with it's great location and beautiful landscaping. As for weather, I was there last December and was comfortable in a sweatshirt. For the little ones it is always best to bring an extra blanket or two just in case. I hope you have a great vacation.
