i am planning to visit DW, but i have a daughter with celiac disease. Will I find gluten free meals in the parks or hotels?

    Hi Jose,

First, if you are making dining reservations please call (407)WDW-DINE and let them know about your daughter's dietary issues.  They will make a note of it on your reservation.   At table service restaurants please speak to the Castmember who checks you in when you arrive.  They will let your server know.  I would also tell your server.  Normally, the chef will come out to speak with you personally about food choices, and together you can come up with a fabulous meal.

If you are having counter service meals at any point during your trip, please be aware that these places have ingredient books.  Feel free to ask to see them.  The staff is trained to help with dietary issues and allergies.

Disney Dining is exceptional at helping guests not only with food allergies, but with medical issues and food choices based on religious affiliation.  You can email Disney's food experts at specialdiets@disneyworld.com.  Let them know your concerns in detail and they will help you by giving you more information and solutions.  I would do this at least two weeks ahead of your trip.

I hope this helps!  Have a magical trip!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
