I am planning a visit DisneyWorld later this month with three friends. We have four day park tickets and can’t decide which park to visit on our fourth day—right now we are planning to visit Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom. Which park to hit last?

    Hey there, Rebecca!

Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question! A January adults-only visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is, as fellow a Lizzie would say, 'what dreams are made of'. With four whole days of Disney magic ahead of you, the World is your oyster!

Personally, for a friends' getaway, I would recommend spending your final day at EPCOT. My husband and I can confirm that Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a treat for thrill-seeking adult Terrans. Be sure to access the Virtual Queue at 7 AM in the My Disney Experience app to secure a spot. No luck at 7? Never fear! You can try your luck again at 1 PM as long as you are in the park. We've been known to join the Virtual Queue and purchase an individual Lightning Lane in the same day.

Additionally, your visit will fall during EPCOT International Festival of the Arts where you can immerse yourselves in musical, visual, and culinary arts. Since you are visiting with friends, be sure to check out all of the fun photo ops for some memorable snapshots! You could even leave your collective mark on a paint by numbers mural or make musical memories together by singing along with the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series. Additionally, Disney Parks Blog just released their Foodie Guide giving guests a preview of all of the delicious treats the festival has to offer. Alternately, if you are looking to dine beyond the festival, consider Space 220 Restaurant (prix fixe) or Space 220 Lounge (a la carte) for an out-of-this-world dining experience. While advance dining reservations are coveted, I have had some luck in the past with same-day reservations opening up in the app.

More great news: You will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort at a time when theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets, so depending on ticket type, your group is likely free to alter your plans even after you are in the middle of the magic. Be sure to check out the Hours and Events Calendar as you plan your days!

I hope you have an amazing trip with your friends, and don't hesitate to stop back by should any additional questions arise!

    Cheers to 2024,

    Lizzie
