    We are planning to visit the Disneyland Resort in early December for the Holidays. Will the characters in the character dining experiences at Disneyland Park and at the hotels be specially dressed for the holidays?

    Hi, Jordan! Welcome to planDisney.

    I'm so thrilled you are visiting the Disneyland Resort during the Holidays! This is one of my favorite times of the year at the resort and I know you will have the best trip.

    Character Dining is one of my favorite experiences to book for any Disney vacation. The Disney Parks Blog has announced that starting November 19, 2024, select character dining at the Disneyland Resort Hotels will offer special Holiday-themed experiences for the season. At the Disneyland Hotel, you can enjoy “Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays!” at Goofy's Kitchen. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will host Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party breakfast and brunch at Storytellers Cafe. As previously mentioned, the restaurants will feature holiday-themed meals, seasonal décor, and characters in festive outfits.

    Reservations can be made online at Disneyland.com and will become available at a later date. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news.

    Tip: Don't miss Mickey and Minnie Mouse (and a few of their pals) in their Holiday best on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park and on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park. Hint, hint: You can get a preview of these outfits now.
