Bonjour!
Welcome to planDisney, Zeynep! Thank you for stopping by with your question about your upcoming visit to
the happiest place in Europe! What a fantastic way to start 2026, and how exciting that your niece will be celebrating her birthday at Disneyland Paris too.
Zeynep, if you are visiting Disneyland Paris the day before your niece’s 3rd birthday, she will still be 2 years old and will not need a ticket to access the Disney Parks. If you plan to visit for two days, and one of those days falls on or after her birthday, she will require a ticket for those days. If you are booking a
Hotel + Ticket Package, you will only pay for a child based on their age on the date of arrival.
Did you know that the attractions at both Disney Parks do not have age requirements, only height requirements? When I visited with my own little one, who had just turned 3, he was tall enough to enjoy so many attractions, as most have no height restriction at all. We had a brilliant time experiencing family favourites together like Peter Pan’s Flight, Le Carrousel de Lancelot and “it’s a small world.”
One final tip, Zeynep: in France, it is a legal requirement to carry government-issued ID at all times, so if you need to confirm your niece’s age for any reason, you will be prepared. A passport usually works well for this.
I hope this clears things up for you today, Zeynep, and that your niece has a brilliant birthday celebration at Disneyland Paris. If you have any further vacation planning questions as your trip gets nearer, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help!
See ya real soon!
Matt
