If we are planning to visit Disneyland in May 2027, when can we begin booking hotel rooms and tickets to the parks?

Hi Magdalen! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

I am a planner too, and I understand wanting to get a jump on planning your magical vacation for next year! And while you could purchase a standard ticket today, which could be used for next year's adventure with the Disneyland Resort's generous wholly unused ticket expiration date, it is a little early yet to book a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package or a room-only stay at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. You'll have to wait just a little bit longer!

How much longer? While I don't have access to Madame Leota's crystal ball, we can make a guess based on historical patterns. Typically, hotel reservations and Vacation Packages are released for the next year near the end of summer. I would start checking in late July and into August. Hopefully, before the new school year starts, you'll have picked out the perfect place to stay during your visit. I hope that's good news!

Do you have a hotel in mind? The Disneyland Hotel is our favorite! We love the iconic retro styling, dining choices, and quick access to the Disneyland Monorail, which whisks you directly into the heart of Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park. But all of the hotels have unbeatable access to the parks, great dining, and fun theming. You can't go wrong with any of them! Take the time to look through your choices to pick the spot perfect for your family's needs. Your opportunity to book will be here before you know it, and making your selections early will help ensure greater availability. Availability isn't guaranteed, so getting a jump on next year's plans is a fantastic idea.

    In the meantime, enjoy dreaming!
