Dear Kelly,
A February trip to the Happiest Place on Earth should prove to be exciting and Magical!
Your kids will love Disneyland where they can ride some of the original attractions like Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Mad Tea Party.
At California Adventure, they'll love Cars Land, "a bug's land" and the carnival games of Paradise Pier!
In terms of Character Dining, it's hard to say which places are the "best" since each one is so unique with tasty meals and meet & greets with our favorite Disney characters.
However, if you want to get an early start at Disneyland, it would probably be wise to make dining reservations at the
Plaza Inn.
The Plaza Inn serves a scrumptious breakfast buffet featuring Mickey waffles and other favorites, plus a chance to meet Minnie Mouse, Captain Hook and others like Rafiki from the Lion King!
If you're planning a more relaxed day at the hotel, I would encourage you to have breakfast at
Goofy's Kitchen, where kids love the famous "Peanut Butter & Jelly" pizza.
Lunch is great at
Ariel's Grotto, although if you have boys, they may not be as thrilled to meet Ariel and her princess friends as a little girl would, but everyone will love the sauteéd shrimp and angel hair pasta dish!
Dinner is always a great idea at
Disney's PCH Grill inside the Paradise Pier Hotel. Mickey and his friends will greet you and you can expect to enjoy classic "beach eats" like roasted fish, cheeseburgers and ribs.
I hope this helps.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
