I love staying in the Disney bubble at a
Disneyland Resort hotel whenever I have the chance. The feeling of staying in the magic with the theme parks so close by is unbeatable. Unfortunately, Early Entry is no longer available as a benefit when staying on property. It's okay to sit with our friend Sadness for a moment about this. The good news is that our friend Joy is also here to lift our spirits because Disneyland Resort hotel guests will receive one
complimentary Lightning Lane entry during their resort stay.
Here's how it works. Make sure that each guest staying at the hotel is registered (on the hotel reservation) and your hotel reservation is linked to your MyDisney account. You'll also want to make sure that your entire party's theme park tickets are linked to your account. The quickest way to do this is in the
Disneyland app. Tap the "☰" to open the menu, followed by tapping the "My Tickets & Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" at the top of the screen and then "Link Tickets & Passes." I like to use the "Camera" option to scan each ticket's barcode for quick linking. You can redeem your
Lightning Lane entry (for select eligible attractions) at any time during your hotel stay.
Pixar Place Hotel is such a fun hotel to stay in. Art from all of the Pixar films can be found sprinkled throughout the hotel, and it always makes me feel immersed in the magic. Plus, it's the only place at the Disneyland Resort where you can meet with your friend who likes to play, Bing Bong (Bing Bong!)!
