We are planning to visit Disneyland (ca) at the end of october for my daughters 30th birthday. There will be 6 adults and 1 baby. Can i get assistance planning

    Hello, Deanna!

Thank you for reaching out to planDisney. I am happy to share information about planning a trip to my favorite vacation destination, Disneyland Resort! October is a spooktacular time of year to visit "The Happiest Place on Earth". Halloween festivities can be found across the resort, including decorations, seasonal treats, and fun overlays on popular attractions, such as Haunted Mansion Holiday and Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween.

Vacation Packages are the easiest way to plan a visit to Disneyland Resort. They include your hotel stay, theme park tickets, and optional services. Vacation Packages can be booked on the Disneyland Resort website. First, visit the website and select "Log In or Create Account" at the top of the page to create a MyDisney account.

You can then use the "Build Your Vacation" tool at the top of the homepage. Enter your dates, the number of Guests, and select "All Hotels". This will take you to a page that displays the current lowest cost for each of the three Disneyland Resort hotels for your selected dates. In addition, you will be given the option to "Browse Good Neighbor Hotels". Good Neighbor Hotels are Disney-approved hotels close to Disneyland Resort.

With six adults and a baby, you will need multiple rooms or a suite with multiple bedrooms. I love staying in the 2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suites at Disneyland Hotel when traveling with extended family. It includes two bedrooms, plus a living room area that usually has a queen-sized sleeper sofa and a half bath in my experience. If you choose to book individual rooms instead of a suite, I suggest calling the Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages line after making your reservation to request a connecting room. Connecting rooms are not guaranteed, but Cast Members do their best to accommodate Guest requests.

After selecting your hotel room, you can choose theme park tickets and other options, such as Lightning Lane Multi Pass (which lets you skip the standby lines on many attractions). For theme park tickets, you can pick between One Park Per Day tickets or Park Hopper tickets. Disneyland Resort has two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Park Hopper tickets allow you to "hop" between both theme parks starting at 11:00 a.m. each day (subject to availability). I prefer Park Hopper tickets, but some of my friends like sticking with one park per day. Guests need both theme park tickets and park reservations to enter a theme park each day.

A deposit will be needed to finalize your reservation, and subsequent payments can be made on the website under "View Existing Reservations." Full payments are due 30 days before arrival. You can also call the Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages Line if you would like assistance with booking a Vacation Package.

Deanna, I hope this information was helpful. Please reach out to planDisney again if you have additional questions.
