Hi Rebecca!
Welcome to planDisney! Visiting the
Disneyland Resort with little ones is sure to be an unbelievable time. You might tear up when your toddler sees Mickey for the first time or hugs his favorite Disney character! Be sure to take advantage of the
Disney PhotoPass service to capture some of these sentimental and special moments! Also, be sure to grab a Mickey Ears cap, and have his name embroidered. It will be a memento from his time at the parks, and something he can cherish as he grows.
Rebecca, thanks for stopping by with your question about the
Disability Access Service pass. The DAS, as is the common acronym, enables Guests who are unable to wait in the traditional queues, the opportunity to experience attractions. As a DAS family, we have always been grateful for the service, as it gives us the chance to enjoy the ride as a unit. There are two ways to register for a DAS Pass. You can opt to do so on the day that you arrive at the parks. Simply head to Guest Relations at either
Disneyland or
Disney's California Adventure Parks, and request a DAS. The Cast Member will discuss the need for the DAS, and whether it is an appropriate option for your family. They will explain the process and be able to answer any questions you may have.
Another option is the
DAS Advance. This allows you to register for a DAS pass via a live video chat with a Cast Member. Again, the need for the DAS will be discussed, and they can assist you in creating initial DAS attraction passes for your vacation. You can
pre-register online by clicking the link on the DAS Advance page, and following the prompts to engage with a Cast Member. DAS Advance registration is available beginning 30 days prior to your trip, up to two days before you arrive.
I truly hope this helps you plan a most wonderful vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth!
