We are planning a visit to Disneyland in August. What are some of the must see princess themed activities? We will be traveling with our 5 year old daughter and looking for more character experiences than rides.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kimberly!

My 5-year-old daughter has the goal of meeting every Disney princess available at the Disney Parks, so I certainly know my way around all things princess and would love to help you out! Your first stop should be Royal Hall in Fantasy Faire. This is where you can meet up to three princesses in one location. Princess availability can change from day-to-day, but most often we have met Ariel, Cinderella, and Snow White. Right outside is the Fantasy Faire courtyard where other princesses like Rapunzel, Elena, and Jasmine occasionally make appearances. Not far from Fantasy Faire, you can usually meet Tiana on the Mark Twain Riverboat or another princess or two by Snow White’s Wishing Well. And don’t forget about Moana who can be found near Tarzan’s Treehouse.

Over in Disney California Adventure Park is where you can meet Anna and Elsa inside the Disney Animation Building. Princess Sofia sometimes meets right outside the Disney Animation Building as well. You will want to use the Disneyland app when you are in the parks to look up exact times and locations of all the characters.

If you want to take the princess theme to the next level, book a magical princess makeover for your daughter at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! There are a few different packages to choose from that include a princess hairstyle, shimmering make up, and nail polish. You can bring a dress from home or choose a package that includes a gown. There are even packages that come with a special photo opportunity in Cinderella’s carriage.

I’d love to help you continue to plan the perfect trip for your family, so please stop by again with any other questions!
