We’re planning to visit Disney World the week of July 14, 2025. I was using the Genie Service in the my Disney Experience app and it says Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm all that week. Is there a way to confirm if that is correct? If affects our plans.

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Ana!

We are so happy to hear from you and even more excited that you will be visiting Walt Disney World in just a few months! Are you getting excited? Since you are approaching that 60-day mark, I recommend taking the time now to think about any dining reservations you may want to make for your visit. One of my go-to is Topolino’s Terrace for breakfast. My family loves the environment, the characters, and of course the delicious food. I always say I’m going to try something new, but somehow always end up ordering the same thing, the Sour Cream Waffle.

Ana, I did happen to take a look at the online calendar as well as the one on the My Disney Experience mobile app and I don’t see any times up for July just yet. The calendar currently goes out to early June, so give it a few weeks then check again! Once the calendar is up with times, you’ll have a better idea of how to schedule your days. My family are early risers so we usually have to squeeze in a midday nap to make it to the evening nighttime spectaculars, like fireworks. However, it sounds like your family is the opposite and favors the evening hours. One day, my family will make it through the evening hours!

While visiting Walt Disney World don’t forget to purchase Memory Maker. It’s the perfect way to get everyone in the photo. Plus, the magic shots are so much fun! My family loves looking back at all the photos we took over the trip and seeing what pixie-dusted magic joined our photo. You can also visit the Disney PhotoPass Studio for some more fun photos. We usually go take our first photos there on our arrival date. On our most recent visit, we went there straight from the airport and while our outfits weren’t the most coordinated, after a day of traveling, they are probably some of my favorite photos. You can see the excitement of the week ahead of us in my little one’s smile. The professional settings and backdrops were all so fun! It was a great time and now one of our must-dos when visiting with Memory Maker.

Ana, I hope this helps ease your worries. Continue to plan and if there’s anything else we can help with, you know where to find us!
