We are planning our visit to Disney World 5/31-6/6 and I thought I read somewhere that throw away plates, bowls and silverware were provided in Pop Century rooms? Can any one tell me if this is true? Thanks

    Hi John,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I stay at the Pop Century resort often and love the theme, the food court and the layout of the resort.

There are usually wrapped drinking cups in the room, but not other disposable dishes or cutlery. Extra small plates and disposable silverware are readily available in the food court. And I've often asked for extra larger plates with my food order so that we can share.

The supplies you describe come with the family suites at some of the other resorts, but not at Pop Century.

I hope that helps. Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World!
