I am planning a visit to Disney World Sept. 3-10, 2016. I am traveling with my daughter, son-in-law and 2 year old granddaughter. Will there be less crowds at that time? Also, do you know if they will be running the free meal plan then?

    Hello, Cheryl!

You must be so excited to plan a family visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Historically, the crowds tend to be a lighter in September and wait times for attractions are much less. It is one of my favorite times of the year to visit because the Magic Kingdom is usually decorated for fall and the decor is beautiful. Over the years, there have been Special Offers during this time so keep checking back to see if an offer such as free dining will be available during your visit.

As you continue to plan your visit with your granddaughter, you may find this Planning with Preschoolers page helpful. You will find information on attractions, itineraries and helpful tips. Be sure to check out this video of my fellow Moms Panelist Crystal and her adorable family as they highlight all the fun for little ones in the Magic Kingdom

Thank you for your question, and please let us know if we answer other questions you may have. Wishing you a trip full of many unforgettable memories with your family.

    Happy Planning!
