I am planning to visit Disney World for the first time in September 2011. I have two daughters, aged 2 and 5. What hotel can you recommend for this age?

    Hi Erla!

With two young girls, I recommend staying in a Magic Kingdom Resort if your budget supports it.  Any of the hotels on the monorail will provide easy access between the hotel and the Magic Kingdom.  That will allow returning to the hotel for naps, to take a break from the parks, etc so much easier!

Another hotel to consider is the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  I have found over the years that very young guests absolutely enjoy that hotel.  If you stay there, be sure to get a savanna room, so that your daughters can watch the animals from the hotel room!  It's fabulous!

If you are looking for something less expensive, I recommend Port Orleans Riverside, especially the Alligator Bayou section of that resort.  Port Orleans Riverside is my family's favorite Moderate Resort.  My family's favorite Value Resort is Pop Century.

Wherever you go, you really can't go wrong at Walt Disney World.  There's a resort for every budget.  Enjoy planning your magical vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
