We are planning to visit Disney World either a week between Thanksgiving & Christmas or late January early February. Can you tell us when the park is least crowded of those two options. We will have a 5 year old and almost 2 year old with us. Thank

    Hi Rose --

For the lowest crowds, you'll probably want to consider going in late January.  Schools will be back in session from the holidays, and February breaks that are popular on the east coast haven't begun.

However, seeing the resorts and theme parks decorated for the holidays is truly magical.  If this is something that your family may want to enjoy, consider planning your trip the first week in December.  While, the parks will be busier than they are in January, the crowds are still significantly lighter than they are closer to the holidays.  The week between Christmas and New Year's is one of the most crowded times to visit.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
