    We are planning another visit to Disney, this will be our third. My kids are older now and will be bringing friends, so there will be six of us. The kids will range from age 16 to 18. Should we stay inside or outside the resort?

    Hi there Shelley!

    I'm a firm believer that no matter what the age or party size, the advantages of staying on site at Walt Disney World far outweigh any other outside accommodation options.

    Having complimentary transportation at your fingertips all day long - from the early morning hours until the late night (early morning?) hours just cannot be beat. Knowing that you can be anywhere you need to be within an hour or less and knowing that the older kids can even travel safely on their own is just so valuable.

    In terms of accommodation for 6 guests staying together, there are a few great options to consider. In order to be accommodated all in one Guest Room, consider a Family Suite at either Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort. With 1 queen bed, 2 additional double beds and two full bathrooms, it's a great set-up for a large group.

    If you'd rather have all Queen beds for the party, consider booking two rooms with an adjoining door connecting them at a resort like Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. These rooms have 2 Queen beds each plus a double sink and vanity outside of the bathroom. It's a great set-up and a great, central location. Another great perk at this location is the boat that runs down the Sassagoula River directly to Downtown Disney!
