Hi. We are planning to visit Disney Paris. My Neühew will be 3 by the time we go. We are trying to buy the tickets beforehand. As now he is 2, when we buy him the tickets appears that Birthdate is not valid. How can we solve this issue?

Hi Alberto and welcome to planDisney.

How exciting that you're planning a family trip to Disneyland Paris in January. I'm not sure if this will be your first visit, or not, but, let me assure you that every trip to Disneyland Paris is filled with both magic and wonder for both little ones and those who are young at heart!

My family have enjoyed many visits to Disneyland Paris during the month of January (as it's my daughter's birthday month) and although it can be very cold, there are generally low crowds which means that you should be able to take advantage of lower wait times for the attractions, shows and character meet and greets. Be sure to pack your thermals, waterproofs and a rain cover for your pram though as these are all essentials when visiting during the Winter months.

After reading your question, Alberto, I have just tried to do a dummy booking to purchase park tickets for a child who is currently aged 2 but, will be aged 3 at the time of visit and you are absolutely right in saying that an error message appears stating "Please enter a valid date of birth".

To try to get to the bottom of this, I have just spoken with a Disney Agent called Alana who confirmed that they are experiencing a technical issue at the moment. She advised that you change the year of the child's date of birth, to make them 1 year older, as though they are already 3-years old, so that the system will accept it and allow you to book your park tickets.

She also confirmed that there will not be any issue whatsoever when you scan your park ticket, at the gate, on the day of your visit.

Top Tip - Did you know that there is a section of the Disneyland Paris website dedicated to Visiting with kids aged 0 - 6 years old? I would definitely recommend that you take a look at this before you arrive as it will help you to plan for, and get the most out of, your time at the Disney Parks.

I hope that this information has been of help, Alberto. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your trip.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
