Hi Michael!
Even though a Walt Disney World vacation is magical all on its own, I love that you want to create extra special memories for each of your children. I also love to add a little extra personal pixie-dust to make sure our vacations are adventures they will always remember.
A few ideas come to mind for your son since he loves animals and marine wildlife. First, there is a great experience at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park called
Shark Reef. In this experience, your son (and a willing adult) would be able to snorkel alongside bonehead and leopard sharks, stingrays, blue tangs and other tropical fish. Another great experience to partake in while you are visiting Typhoon Lagoon is the
Surfing Program. Your son can participate in a fun lesson, at surf school, to learn the basics of surfing. There is also a great snorkeling experience at Epcot called the
Epcot Seas Aqua Tour. Similar to the snorkel experience at Typhoon Lagoon, here your son and an adult would be able to swim with over 6000 sea creatures including sharks and sea turtles! For a dryer animal encounter, I suggest
Disney's Animal Kingdom Wild Africa Trek. With an adult, your son would be able to take a privately guided tour offering some great encounters with African wildlife in their natural habitats.
I hope that this gives you a few ideas to create an absolute magical trip for your son. Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
