We are planning to visit Disney in Oct 2013 with our two children, son age 10 and daughter age 6 and plan to stay at Port Orleans per a friend's recommendation. Would you recommend PO Riverside or PO French quarter ? Thank you

    Hi Barbara,

Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter would be perfect for your family. Not only does the French Quarter have a fabulous pool with a turquoise sea serpent slide, you have access to the entire pool complex on Ol' Man Island at Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside. The smallest of the moderate resorts, the French Quarter has a quaint, cozy feel and requires less walking than the other larger moderate choices. The theming, landscaping, and charming buildings of this resort will convince you that you are staying in a gracious Southern mansion rather than just a few miles from the world's most popular theme park.

    Enjoy your visit to Mickey!
