    Hello, we are planning a visit to Disney in May. My brother is in the National Guard and would like to gift Disney tickets to us. Will he be able to use the Military discount to buy the tickets? He will not be able to go with us to the park.

    First, I'd like to thank your brother for his service to our country.  In order to qualify for Disney's Special Military Promotions, the Active Duty or Retired military person must be present (a spouse may also receive the discounts provided the military member can not be present). Up to twelve tickets may be purchased during the life of the current promotion.  A valid military ID is require to purchase and activate the special Four-Day Park Hopper Tickets as well as to qualify for the resort room discounts.  You can read all of the details about the Special Military Offers by clicking the link and heading over to the webpage.
