Hi, I am planning to visit disney magic kingdom on april 16,17 in 2023. Looked at the website to see if there are parades and fireworks for these days.I dont see any events or parades. Does this mean there wont be any events or parades for these days?

    Hello, Yeshwanth,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  Your visit in April is a great time to take advantage of some new additions to Walt Disney World.  Tron Lightcycle/Run is opening on April 4, 2023, and it looks so incredible, especially at night. You'll also have a chance to enjoy one of my favorite festivals:  the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which transforms EPCOT into an even more beautiful park with the addition of topiaries, floral displays, and gardens.

The parades and fireworks are an iconic experience for guests visiting Walt Disney World. While the nighttime parade at the Magic Kingdom stopped running in 2016, the fireworks show Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom is happening at 9:00 PM on the dates you are visiting. If you visit any of the other theme parks on those dates, Fantasmic! is showing at Disney's Hollywood Studios at 8:30 PM, and EPCOT Forever will be showing at 9:00 PM at EPCOT. Additional events may be added at a later date, so I'd encourage you to check the Park Hours as your trip grows closer to check for updates. Also once you arrive at the theme parks, you may also want to grab a paper guide map or check the My Disney Experience Mobile app for additional updates.

Wishing you a magical trip! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
