Hello Brenna,
Celebrating a birthday while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season is just about as magical as it gets! The Parks and Resorts are festively decorated and overflowing with the spirit of the holiday season; just perfect for your special celebration!
I recommend purchasing tickets to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom Park. The "snow" falling on Main Street, U.S.A., Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, and Holiday Wishes fireworks are guaranteed to make your holiday celebration unforgettable! Santa makes a jolly appearance at the end of the Parade. Meet and Greets with Santa take place daily at Candy Cane Garden next to City Hall between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM as well.
Should you decide to purchase Party tickets, I suggest relaxing at your Resort Hotel during the day. You want to be fully rested so you can enjoy the Attractions and Entertainment that are open until midnight only for Guests attending the Party. The official start time of the Party is 7:00 P.M. Also, if you purchase a Party ticket you do not need a separate Park ticket to enter Magic Kingdom Park during the Party. In the past guests have been allowed early entry at 4:00 P.M., however, this is not guaranteed. Be sure to pick up the Times Guide when you arrive at the Magic Kingdom Park; there you will find a listing of Attractions that are open during the Party, a schedule of events, and a map of areas where you can receive complimentary hot cocoa and cookies. Don't forget to pick up a complimentary 'I'm Celebrating' button from any Guest Services. Your little one will feel so special when they receive Happy Birthday wishes from Cast Members & Guests during your visit!
Magical Wishes,
Susan
