    Hi Regina!

This is a great question, and, unfortunately, there is no good answer!  Port Orleans Riverside is my favorite Disney Moderate Resort.  In fact, it and its sister resort Port Orleans French Quarter, are the only Disney Moderate Resorts that I recommend staying at unless you have a car.  That's because I think the other Disney Moderate Resorts are too large and spread out.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a Disney Value Resort.  However, it is brand new and a lot of guests, especially Disney fans, want to stay in this brand new resort.  The concept art does look wonderful and the menu Disney has released for the food court looks great.  It will also have the largest pool on property.

Generally speaking, a Disney Moderate Resort has more services and amenities than a Disney Value Resort.  However, I think if I was on the fence, I would pick the Art of Animation Resort.  You can say you were one of the first people to stay there.  You can always stay at Port Orleans Riverside on a future trip to Walt Disney World.  I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
