Hey there, Jeongmin!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm excited to hear you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth
tomorrow! Your countdown is almost over and your unforgettable vacation is about to begin. I'd be happy to help you prepare for your arrival - you've got a friend in me!
Jeongmin, at the time of writing, Guests must have both valid theme park admission and
theme park reservations in order to enter a Walt Disney World Resort theme park. (Beginning in early January 2024, Guests will no longer need to make theme park reservations for select date-based tickets!) Unfortunately, at this time, according to the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, no theme parks have remaining reservations available for tomorrow. At the time of writing, both
Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park and EPCOT have reservations available for Saturday, December 30, and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park has reservations available for Sunday, December 31. However, all four theme parks have remaining availability for Monday, January 1. If your travel plans allow you to shift your plans by one day, I encourage you to make reservations (as soon as possible) for
EPCOT on Saturday, December 30, Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park on Sunday, December 31, and Magic Kingdom Park on Monday, January 1.
Although this may not be the news you were hoping for, this new plan will allow you to experience the very last day of the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! Jeongmin, though Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park closes at 8:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve, you'll still be able to ring in the new year in style. I encourage you to visit
Disney Springs or make an evening
dining reservation at one of the Disney Resort hotels so that you might be able to view a fantastic fireworks display that evening. Cancelations do happen, so if you don't see dining reservation availability today, I recommend checking back periodically over the coming days! Be sure to check the
Hours & Events Calendar for nighttime spectacular showtimes so that you can plan your evening accordingly.
Jeongmin, I wish you an exciting and enchanting holiday visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any additional questions before or during your vacation, you're always welcome to revisit us at
planDisney. We're here to help with any question you might have - to infinity and beyond!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
