Planning to visit Disney what is the best time when there will be less rush. Beginning January or Beginning June? When do the parades take place?

    Hi Ritu,

It's wonderful to hear from you!

You'll find less crowds in January as long as you stay clear of the immediate days after January 1st. It can be chilly though so that would be a consideration. The beginning of June is hot and humid. It's also starting to bring summer crowds to the parks as children across the United States begin their summer vacations from school.

Parades take place each day in the Magic Kingdom. There is an afternoon and usually an evening parade as well. The Animal Kingdom has a daily afternoon parade as does Disney's Hollywood Studios.

My favorite time of year to visit WDW for low crowds is January! On my first June visit, I was surprised at how much busier the park was compared to January.

Best wishes for a wonderful WDW vacation.
