Planning to visit Disney with my almost 4 months old and a 5 year old. Please give me tips on planning and what to do and what to avoid to make it a memorable trip for all.

    Hello, Neha!

I also have children who are five years apart in age, so I know what it’s like to explore the theme parks with two little ones and their differing needs! Check out the Attractions list online to make a list of must-dos, and read up on Disney FASTPASS to help you save time in line at popular attractions. If there is no height requirement for an attraction, then it’s safe for your youngest to ride. Almost every attraction in Fantasyland is baby-friendly! If you’re visiting with another adult, use Rider Switch, which allows Guests with small children to take turns experiencing attractions without waiting in line twice. The Baby Care Centers are another great resource when exploring the theme parks with infants. They provide full-size changing tables, high chairs, private nursing spaces and baby food prepping areas.

There are magical character interaction opportunities that will be a big hit with your little ones. Download the Disneyland Mobile App to locate characters by checking the Characters tab. “Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park” at Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park is a good choice for an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet of breakfast classics while visiting with Minnie and the gang. You won't have to spend time waiting in line since the characters come to you! Dining reservations can be made online or by calling (714) 781-DINE. If you have a princess fan in your group, don’t miss Royal Hall in Disneyland Park. You can visit for hugs, autographs and photos with beloved Disney royalty, and you'll only have to wait in line once to meet all the available princesses!

I hope this helps you plan, Neha, and that you have a pixie dust-packed visit to the Disneyland Resort with your young Mouseketeers!

    Wishing you magic,
