    We are planning a visit from December 10-17, 2012.I would like to take a visit to the local Walmart and have been told that we can access a City Bus from Downtown Disney.Is there anything we should know ahead of time to make this shopping trip a success?

    Hi Janet.

    Lynx bus services operate from several stops within the Walt Disney World Resort.
    There's a Route 56 bus which operates every 30 minutes at 23 and 53 minutes past each hour, leaving from and returning to the Transportation & Ticket Center. This is the location for Magic Kingdom Parking and also where the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Monorails originate. Lynx's bus stops are marked with a pink 'paw print' logo. This particular bus route travels directly to the shopping destination you refer to in your question. Simply advise the driver of where you're headed and they'll let you know which stop you'll want to get off at, as well as letting you know the return times from that location. Trip time to your destination is about 35 minutes.

    Additionally, several other Lynx buses stop just outside of the Marketplace bus area at Downtown Disney. Ask a Cast Member at the Disney Transportation Bus depot area how to access the stop if you prefer to board from this location.
