We are planning to visit in Dec. If I book my room now and a free dining plan is offered can I be credited for the meal plan. If I book a value hotel which might offer "quick serve"plan can I pay the difference to upgrade to table service meal pl

    Hi Regina!

I love, love, love Walt Disney World in December!  It almost seems as though the air is thick with magic and everyone is in the Holiday spirit!  By all means, book your Walt Disney World vacation package as soon as possible - you have nothing to loose.  If Free Dining or another promotion is offered that you QUALIFY for, you may certainly call 1-407-WDISNEY and have them credit your reservation.  If you have paid in full, you will receive a refund, as long as you are not within 45 days of travel.  If you are within 45 days of travel, you will still be given a refund, but you will be charged a small fee.  Totally worth it!

If you are booked at a Value Resort, typically the Free plan is the Quick Service Dining Plan.  Just as you guessed, you may absolutely pay the difference and upgrade to the Table Service Plan.  In fact, we've done it before!

I hope that you have a wonderful vacation and keep those questions coming!
