Hey there, hi there, Erika! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your question.
Your visit is approaching so soon, so let's make sure you are prepared. If you have used the
Disability Access Service program before, I'm sure you know that you can arrive and register at Guest Relations with a Cast Member at both parks. There is also DAS Advance available now. This program allows you to
preregister via a live video call between 2 and 30 days before your arrival and saves some park time for you. In order to do this you will also need to make sure you have purchased your tickets and made your theme park ticket reservations. I would also make sure that you have linked the tickets of everyone in your party who will be visiting together, including your mom, to your Disney account in your
Disneyland app. Your mother can buy hers separately if needed, you just will want to get her ticket ID number from her to link her ticket with your account or whichever account you will be used to register for DAS.
If you pre-register you will be able to pre-select two one-hour return times for select experiences. If you register on-site once you have entered the park you will be able to select a return time from the Disneyland app or have a Cast Member do it for you once you are registered.
The ability to self-select return times in the Disneyland app is also a new feature. To find this, tap on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right. Next, tap on the DAS button to enter the self-selection flow. You can also access this from attraction detail pages within the app.
Erika, I hope that this information helps you with the final details of your visit. If you have any other questions for us, please stop by again. You've got a friend in us!
