We are planning to visit for 3 days in February 2025 spending most of our time at Magic Kingdom. We would also like to visit Animal Kingdom one of the days we are there. Is it possible to add park hopper to only one day instead of all three days? Thanks!

Hey there, Julie, and welcome to planDisney: the most magical place on the internet to get answers to your specific Disney vacation questions. Magic Kingdom Park is where I like to spend most of my time during my Disney vacations because of the nostalgia. Also, how can I not visit my 999 happily haunting friends at the Haunted Mansion?

The Park Hopper Option upgrade must be applied to the entire ticket when upgrading standard Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets. If you have a 3-day theme park ticket and are considering adding the Park Hopper Option, you should do it at the beginning of your trip before entering any theme parks. Utilizing this strategy will open up the entire "World" - all four theme parks - for you to visit over your February adventure.  You may upgrade your ticket at any theme park ticket window or at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.

If I was planning this trip and did not want to spend more on tickets then I would dedicate the first and last days to Magic Kingdom Park and the middle day to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I like to finish my vacation by saying goodbye to Mickey at the "Most Magical Place on Earth."

Julie, I hope this information helps. Please feel free to write me back directly or reach out to planDisney again for more Disney vacation planning advice.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
