    We are planning to visit from 06/30/12--07/08/12. Is there any chance of a discount or special promotion during this time? What has happened in the past as far as discounts during the summer.

    Hi Tara!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  One never can tell what discounts Disney might release when; Disney really releases discounts in an attempt to increase the occupancy rates of Disney owned and operated hotels and to increase attendance in the theme parks.

    That said, I do recommend visiting the independent website MouseSavers.com.  They have a historical database of what discounts Disney has released and when over the past several years.  If you use Google with the search string "Mouse Savers Walt Disney World Historical Discounts" it should take you right there.  I believe this is the information you are looking for.
