    Hello! Planning to visit in April 2013. I made a dinner reservation at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. How does the Canyon Skillet work? Is one enough for 4 people to share, or would each person order their own (2 adults, 2 children in our party)? Thanks!

    Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.

    The Whispering Canyon Cafe's 'Canyon Skillet' has been replaced with the new, Build-Your-Own "All-You-Care-To-Enjoy" Family Platter. The platters' portions are dished out in accordance with how many adults have ordered it as their entrée. In addition to the meats, poultry and fish offered on the platter, you'll also receive shareable sides including vegetables and potatoes. You'll find the new Whispering Canyon Cafe Menu online and I've included the link for you.

    Children aged 9 and under have their own options on the Kids Complete Meals menu.

    During our last visit, my husband ordered the platter, while my daughter and I ordered a few appetizers to snack on and share and my son opted for a Kids Meal. The platter for 1 person was sufficiently abundant that my daughter and I sampled a bit from it as well. If your children are lighter eaters, you may find that ordering the platter for 2 adults, along with an appetizer or two, will be sufficient for your entire family.
