We are planning a visit in April 2021 was looking for a dvd to wind up the grandchildren on what’s there

    Hello Ginny,

It’s so nice to hear from you and thank you for bringing your question to planDisney. Oh, how my little Mouseketeers just love visiting the parks with their grandparents. My dad melts a little each time when he rides attractions with my kids, he says it reminds him of when I was little and held on to him. It’s just an incredible feeling knowing that we are continuing to keep the family tradition alive.

Something my family does, that helps build the excitement for our visits, is watching Disney movies. We do a family movie night every Friday and take turns picking and watching classic Disney movies. We then usually talk about our favorite parts and who we may see while we are there. I also recommend checking out the Disney Parks YouTube Channel. Disney Parks always share new videos about what’s happening in the parks.

Don’t forget to include some sort of countdown, Ginny! My little ones love changing the date/countdown number every morning they wake up.

Have a fun time and please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you plan.

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel from Arizona. I am a mom of two and a military wife. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip! One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for!
