If we are only planning to visit Animal Kingdom & Magic Kingdom, which of the resorts would have the fastest transportation to both parks?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica, we thank you for your question!

I am so excited that you will be experiencing magnificent adventures at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Magic Kingdom Park, congratulations!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is the closest Resort hotel to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, mere minutes away using complimentary Walt Disney World® Bus Service.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort are all conveniently located on the Resort Monorail line and minutes away from Magic Kingdom Park.

May I suggest splitting your Disney Resort hotel stay between Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and one of the Resort hotels on the Monorail line? Bell Services can assist with the transfer of your luggage to your second Resort hotel, while you enjoy your Theme Park touring, we’ve done this many a time and it’s fun experiencing two differently themed Resort hotels during one vacation.

    Mom's Tip:

We hope this information is helpful towards your planning, Jessica and we would be honored to assist you again soon!

    Magical Disney Wishes!
