We are planning to visit Animal Kingdom on December 29th and are curious if the Merry Menagerie will still be out? We have not been able to find a solid answer as to if they will be out past Christmas or not.

Hey Howdy Hey Josie and welcome to planDisney!

Disney's Animal Kingdom is such an amazing park. There are so many unique things to do and experience at this park that you cannot get anywhere else. During the Holidays, this is true as well, especially with the beloved Merry Menagerie.

When it comes to Holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort, many of these offerings and celebrations will run from November 12th through December 31st. You should still have time to catch this show in Animal Kingdom on the day of your visit. Disney typically starts to take down the Holiday decor the first week in January.

If you will be in the parks for New Year's Eve, make sure to get there early as Magic Kingdom and EPCOT may tend to get close if not reach capacity to ring in the new year. Over at Magic Kingdom, you can enjoy Fantasy in the Sky and EPCOT will host Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration to ring in the new year with a little extra Magic!
