Hi Eugenia,
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How wonderful that you are going to get to have a special date night with your husband while at Walt Disney World! I am sure that your little one will enjoy being with his grandparents as well. My husband and I truly enjoy some adult time out at Walt Disney World. Let me offer you some thoughts for a fabulous evening out.
My husband and I enjoy heading out for a great dinner at one of
Walt Disney World's signature dining locations. There are many of these that can then lead into other relaxing activities. For instance, we love dinner at Jiko - The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. After enjoying a great African-inspired meal and enjoying some South African wine, we head outside to see the animals on the savannas at night. We also enjoy a meal at Flying Fish on Disney's BoardWalk. We start here and have some wonderful seafood, and then take a stroll along Disney's BoardWalk. A new favorite place for us to sit and watch the world go by there is
AbracadaBar, a fantastic cocktail lounge with outdoor seating along Disney's BoardWalk. Finally, a dinner at California Grill high atop Disney's Contemporary Resort is always a hit. You can enjoy wonderful California cuisine and watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from this amazing vantage point!
For a real treat, consider booking a
specialty cruise just for you and your husband. You can book a fireworks cruise to take in the nighttime spectacular at either Epcot or Magic Kingdom. The views of these shows from the water is truly magical.
Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Eugenia!
