I am planning a vacation to WDW for my 4 year old son. We need a place to stay that he will LOVE that sleeps 5 adults and 1 child. I cannot narrow down my search by the information online. We want a resort that is fun and beautiful. Any suggestions?

    Hi, Jamie!

How exciting to be planning a vacation for your family!  Your 4 year old is going to love all the magic that Disney has to offer! I do not know your budget, so I will give you options in a few price ranges.  I am going to assume you want to stay in 1 room.  If you are willing to stay in 2 rooms (you can request connecting rooms) then you options are endless!  From Value to Deluxe, the choice is yours with booking 2 rooms. But let's assume you want to stay together. Your options:

VALUE: You can book a Family Suite at All-Star Music or Art of Animation. These budget-friendly suites have 2 rooms with a queen bed in one room and sleeping for an additional 4 guests in the second room.  Suites have a kitchenette, 2 tv's, and 2 full bathrooms.

MODERATE: Fort Wilderness Cabins can sleep 6 guests with a double bed, set of bunk beds, plus a pull down double bed in the living area. Cabins have a full kitchen and outdoor grill.

DELUXE: Your most expensive option would be a Deluxe Villa.  These gorgeous Villas are just like being home with full kitchen, living area, and plenty of space. A two bedroom will sleep up to 9 guests.  Look through the list of Deluxe Villas to decide which you like the best.

The most economical would be a Family Suite at All-Star Music.  The most expensive would  be the Deluxe.  Booking 2 rooms at a Moderate Resort like Port Orleans French Quarter might be a good way to go as well, as this would give you 4 queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, coffee makers, and mini-fridges in the rooms for less than half of what a Deluxe Villa will cost.  Do some homework, do some math and see what will fit for your travel party.  Good luck and let me know if you narrow it down and need help with a final decision.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
